Also, some related researches werecarried out, such as the etiology of premature ovarian failure, the screen of azoospermatosis genes before ICSI, the test of urinary reproductive hormones during IVF cycles, and the embryo co-culture with endometrium cells. Based on these works, ARTs techniques have become routine items applied in clinic now. There were about 1000 ART cycles per year performed during the passed two years, The clinic pregnancy rate was about40%. Since 2000, we have been

studying on the basic and clinic research on oocyte in vitro maturation (IVM).The 78% for oocyte maturation rate and 11 pregnancies from IVM were obtained. A modified culture system of oocyte maturation in vitro was set up. The scientific researches on maturation of oocytes were processed initially on animal models,the protein pattern and pedigree of mouse ovary and oocyte were established by proteometechnology.The serial results from thesestudies have been appraised by an academic

committee organizedby Department of Science and Technology of JiangSu Province in Dec.2003. Some studies are very advanced in Chinaand around the world.
